Our History

In 2006, the Summy Family founded the Supreme Court Youth Organization as a vehicle to provide opportunities for inner city boys to participate in youth activities. As a 501(c)3 non-profit association, the Supreme Court Youth Organization donated thousands of hours and thousands of dollars to achieve this goal.

It was always the vision of the Summy Family to grow the scope of the Supreme Court Youth Organization to include providing philanthropic work and personal growth opportunities for young people from all walks of life: SASO for boys was founded in March 2011, as part of the five year old organization. The success of SASO led to the demand for, and creation of, SASO Girls in October 2013.
